As some of you may know, I participated in the Canadian Regional Chaotic Championship at uOttawa. Although we were only eleven players there, the competition was fierce. There were some well know chaotic players, such as MorbiusX, GerardPG and beckett123 as well as some not so well known.
The first match I played was against a Kha'rall army. My Blazvatan went through the entire army in just a few minutes :P. My next match was against Philwarrior. He used a very special Von Bloot deck (that he doesn't want me to reveal) which left me standing with only two creatures. Once again, Blazvatan saves the day. My third challenger was GerardPG. With his armada of range creatures, I was sure I'd lose. However, thanks to a few mistakes on his part and a lot of luck, I managed to claim a third victory. In the last round of the qualifiers, I found myself against MorbiusX. I was powerless to his supercooled rains and my winning streak came to an end in a mere ten minutes or so leaving me in second.
Going into the semi-finals I faced the third ranked competitor, beckett123. His invisibility deck was no match for my warbeasts and I won without losing a creature. As the finals began, I ended up facing MorbiusX. It was time for my revenge. Learning from my previous mistakes, I managed to beat MorbiusX and claim first place :D.
For coming in first, I received an invite to the chaotic nationals, a special op play mat as well as a box of Turn of the Tide booster packs. In side I found Intress Natureforce, Prince Mudeenu CotG and many more great cards.

Card of the week
For this week's card of the week I chose a very unique Warbeast from the Turn of the Tide collection. Having trouble protecting your conjurors? Well not anymore! Gaffat-Ra comes fully equipped with everything you need to keep your conjurors safe. When it comes to choosing conjurors for your deck, always go with Bylkian. That way you can take full advantage of Gaffat-Ra's abilities and get the most protection possible.
Gaffat-Ra's major weakness is that he lacks the usual element Earth and high speed that most mipedians have. However these are but minor issues.
