Card of the week

This weeks card of the week is an awesome new mipedian warbeast from the rise of Oigarch collection. Glost is a great warbeast for any warbeast deck because he works differently. While you still have your conjurors, you use your Blazvatan or any other warbeast. If you opponent maneges to get passed you Blazvatan or other warbeast and starts to attack your conjurors, that's when Glost is at his best. He gains 5 energy as well as air and earth 5 for every conjuror in your discard. Unlike the other warbeast that become weaker and weaker as conjurors are beaten, Glost gets stronger and stronger.

Card of the week

With all the many decks out there with Spectral viewers and their location decks with forest of life after Achilise is born a new mipedian hero and his name is Headmaster Ankhyja! Not only is he a great front line mipedian cards with 100 speed on average and element earth and air, he's also a great supporting creature. He makes it impossible to negate invisibility and to make him even better, if your creature lost initiative, you gain an extra invisibility strike 10! Can he get any better? As a matter of fact he can. With a maximum of 70 energy, he has the second highest energy of any mipedian! He's like a Blazvatan with no recklessness.

PUBLIC ENEMY #1

Welcome to the first Public Enemy post. Every two weeks I'll be posting a card that shows a great threat to the Mipedian Empire. I'll explain why this card is so dangerous, how to protect yourself and how to defeat it.

This week's Public Enemy #1 is... Vitar'zu.
This M'arrillian Kha'rall creature is a mipedian slayer.
He renders most speed attacks (one of the main stats in most mipedian armies) useless with his intimidate speed 30.
Thanks to his element proof earth, Vitar'zu gains an extra 25 energy against most mipedians which compensates for even the strongest invisibility attacks.
Finally, when up against mipedians, he deals an extra 5 damage after each attack. After a while it starts to add up.

Simple ways to disable Vitar'zu include using trills of diminution or using creatures that don't use earth and speed attacks (there aren't many of them) like Prince Mudeenu. You could also use Bivike however this is very risky since Bivike has element earth.

Also, Kha'rall Warriors tend to have Kha'rall Shards attached to them for an additional 25 energy. Make sure to always carry a Strain of Expensive Delusions Mugic in preparation for this. This is all the help available at the moment however I have a feeling thing will change with the release of the 6th set.

Card of the week

For this week's card of the week I chose to feature a 3 card combination that I have been using for the past month or so. It involves Vinta (or any other 30 energy creature, in my case Lystone), melody of the meek and Kha'rall Husk Armour. Have Vinta cast melody of the meek so that when a creature attacks, the most amount of damage it can do is 10. Because your opponent can't do more than 10 damage, the second effect of the Kha'rall Husk Armour will never activate allowing you to deal damage constantly. This strategy is great for 1v1 battles and 3v3 battles however it may become more difficult in a 6v6 battle considering you can only have 2 melodies of the meek in your hand and 1 creature with Husk Armour.

Cards of the week

Hello fellow chaotic players. Don't worry I haven't abandoned my blog:), I just fell a little behind due to homework etc... Because I fell a little behind in my card of the week, I will be posting 3 cards!
My first card is one which I've learned to appreciate. Although Killeron's energy is very low which makes it hard for him to survive battles, he can really lend a helping hand. I learned this the hard way.
I was battling Gronmore with my Blazvatan. Gronmore used Burning coals then used Psionic Serenade. That was it for my Blazvatan. It was a one shot kill. Because Kileron's ability removes creatures from play when beaten, I never had to worry about Psionic Serenade, or Ulmar's projector, or song of revival, or talisman of the mandiblour. As you can see, Kileron is no waste of space on any Mipedian army.

My second card of the week is Mudeenu, champion of the guard. He’s the classic image of a mipedian. Invisibility surprise, element air, high speed and has a classic mipedian lizard look. When compared to the old Mudeenu, Mudeenu champion of the guard is far better. They both have invisibility however, Mudeenu COTG beats the old Mudeenu 3 to 1 when it comes to disciplines and has more energy as well as element air. Regular Mudeenu is no match compared to Mudeenu COTG.

My third card of the week is Crystal Cave. This is a very tricky location that almost guarantees that the fastest creature will win combat. Not only does it give the fastest creature initiative, the opposing creature’s next attack deal 0 damage. This card is great because you get to attack twice before your opponent has time to do anything.
However this location needs to be handled with care. A simple miss calculation and you may turn the location in favour of your opponent. Watch out for creatures with supercharged alterant and always carry mugic Allegro. A couple signs that your opponent might have a supercharged alterant are if he has a Lyssta, if he uses gear grinds or sometimes back support creatures will have them in stat decks.

Card of the week

With the upcoming of the m'arrillians, I decide that this week's card of the week would be from the 4th set.
Bivike is like an anti-m'arrillian. When in a mirage location, Bivike's stats can't be raised or lowered. A big part of m'arrillian war strategies. Also, when confronted by a m'arrillian, Bivike gains invisibility strike 20! Combine this with a thunder shout, and Bivike can do 40 damage on his first turn.
Bivike is not only good against m'arrillians however. He's also a great all around creature. He has air and earth as well as a mugician. Make sure to include Melke, Maliph or Miziko with him as they work great together.

M'arrillian Invasion

Sitting on his throne, Chaor stared at the strange Creature called Phelphor. "Tell me again," the ruler og the UnderWorld commanded.

"Long ago a Tribe now-forgotten, called the M'arrillians, located the Cothica. In fact, they stole it from us." Phelphor gestured with an open hand toward the others in the room. "And when I say 'us,' my friends, I mean all of us, as I am also an UnderWorlder!"

"You look very little like an UnderWorlder," Agitos remarked coldly.
Phelphor continued unfazed, "That forgotten Tribe took the Cothica into the Deep, beyond the Doors of the Deepmines and hid it there, to prevent us from getting what is rightfully ours."

Chaor looked at Takinom who was seated nearby, "Have you heard of a forgotten Tribe beyond the Doors of the Deepmines, Takinom?"

"No. And if it was true I would know. As would you, I'm sure, Chaor."

Chaor turned his inquisitive gaze to Phelphor, "Well?"

"This all took place very long ago. I am only aware of it due to my good fortune of being left frozen for a very long time in that pillar of ice. My fortune improved when one of your subjects," Phelphor gestured at Khybon, "thawed me earlier today."

"Nonsense!" objected Takinom, "The Doors of the Deepmines are sealed from this side, and further there is no written record suggesting someone or some tribe dwells behind them."

"The M'arrillian Tribe has mastered the power of the mind," replied Phelphor. "No one recalls this Tribe, or their claiming the Cothica, because their Chieftains made Perim forget all about them as they left. They didn't just retract into the Dee; they retracted into voluntary oblivion."

Takinom shook her head, "And they missed you because you were frozen?"

"Yes, I wouldn't be standing here today if I had not been frozen and out of their sight."

Far from the throne room, more strangers observed the scene. In M’arr, the capital of the Deep, the Oligarchs of the Governing council, the Psikoom, gathered to receive the mental projection sent telepathically by their undercover agent, Phelphor.

“The trap is set,” the voice of the Oligarch echoed in the minds of the council. “Phelphor will succeed in getting the doors unlocked. Prepare the first wave of Chieftains to pass through the doors as they open, the Cothica will soon be ours.” The Oligarch of the M’arrillians motioned at the members of the oligarchy before turning to leave.

And, indeed, this menacing new Tribe’s plan came to fruition not long after.

The Doors of the Deepmines opened slowly at first, but the massive rush of water from the Deep soon forced the doors open wide. A torrent of tainted water poured into the UnderWorld, carrying within it a host of sinister Creatures. These strange entities seemed to be part aquatic, part pure energy and were unlike anything known in Perim. These were the Chieftains, and they embraced Perim with a greed and determination of frightening proportion. The Chieftains quickly established footholds at key points in the lands of the four Tribes.

The OverWorlders, UnderWorlders, Danians and Mipedians will struggle to bring their individual strengths to bear against these intruders, but will this be enough to stop the M’arrillian invasion?

You know you play chaotic to much when...
  1. you can no longer pronounce musician.
  2. you spend 200$ on chaotic cards a month.
  3. you dream about being Maxxor and saving the overworld.
  4. you carry around donuts as mugic in your back pack to protect yourself from bullies.

Card of the week

This week’s card of the week is a special Mipedian mugic that’s rivals every single mugic out there. Sure the Overworlders have Song of Resurgence, Underworlders have Canons of Casualty and the Danians have Song of Symmetry. What do we Mipedian have? We have Melody of Mirage. A great mugic that stops all damage. But that’s not the card of the week.
The card of the week is even better. The Mipedian tribe is notorious for redirecting things. It’s one of their unique traits. Combine this trait with melody of Mirage and you get Fighter’s Fanfare. It protects you and hurts your opponent just like an electric fence:). However, this incredible mugic comes at a price. Two mugics to be precise. But to be able to redirect an Allmageddon is defiantly worth the cost.

Card of the week

This is perhaps the best mipedian out of all the sets so far. Blazvatan has more courage than Maxxor, more speed than Van Bloot and has a wicked awesome ability. The only down side is that he has 25 recklessness. There are 3 ways to get around this.
1. This is the most common way to reduce Blazvatan’s recklessness. Use 3 conjurors that each heals Blazvatan by 10.
2. You can also give Blazvatan stone mail but most army carry around gear glissandos and/or discord of disarming.
3. This is the more unconventional way. Add two Trills of diminution, a mugic reprise and two castle Bodhrans. Use Trills of diminution during every battle on Blazvatan so he no longer has recklessness 25. This method is good since It’s not a battle gear and only Refrain of denial overworld can stop it but it costs allot of mugics and you can’t use Blazvatan’s earth and air 5.
Each strategy above come each with a specific battle gear equipped to Blazvatan. For strategy number 1, use the warbeast power leash. Blazvatan will gain 5 energy plus 5 extra energy for each conjuror. He will also do an additional 5 damage on each attack and gain 5 extra recklessness. The recklessness doesn’t matter since you have 3 conjurors (-30 recklessness). For strategy number 2, use stone mail for the reasons explained earlier. Finally for strategy number 3, give Blazvatan a ravita flower. You’ll need all the mugic you can get.

2: Ranun equipped with a Ravita Flower
3: Ribbian equipped with an Aqua Shield

Attacks

Blind Furyx2
Reckless Reproachx2

Locations

Storm Tunnel x2
Mipedim Oasis x2
Sands of the Unseen x2
Rao'Pa Sahkk x2
The Darkened Dunes x2

The main goal in this army is to outlast your opponent so that he beats himself. Use Enre-Hep’s ability to give your opponent recklessness 5 and then use your Ribbians’ ability to increase it by 10.

1) If you are the first active player, have Ranun attack any one of your opponents creatures and sacrifice the ravita flower. Don’t use any mugics to keep Ranun alive. That way when he’s goes to the discard pile your Enre-Hep gains 4 mugic counters.
2) If you ever run out of mugics, you can always sacrifice your Tiaanes.3) Make sure no one gets to your Enre-Hep and that he doesn’t die. Use the song of shelter to stop any troublesome mugics that get in your way.

Cards of the week

I was unable to post a card of the week last week so this week I'll post 2 of them. The first card is Lanker. If you haven't played against one yet, you'll quickly learn how annoying he is to play against. He can totally demolish any hopes of winning stat challenges and can boost a single creature’s stats by 105. Combined with the underworld song of desperation, Lanker can increase your creature’s stats by an additional 90 (as long as he's the engaged creature). The best feature about lanker however is that after the turn is over, Lanker regains all his health so you can do it all over again.
Great cards to include in your attack deck would be luck shot and/or megaroar plus lots of stat challenge attacks. Certainly don’t forget about healing mugic. Every time you heal 5, your creatures can gain 15 in any stat.

The second card I chose is Enre-Hep. Enre-Hep is the heart of my reckless army. He has the ability to give recklessness 5 to any creature he pleases. Combine this with a couple of Ribbians and you can deal a minimum of 15 each turn before you even attack. Enre-Hep is best in the far back of your army. From there he can cast mugic out of harm’s way. The number one thing you need to remember is that Enre-Hep only has one mugic so you’ll need to find a way to keep him loaded. I’ll be posting more about my reckless army later on.

Card of the week

In honour of the chaotic silent sands expansion set release, my second chaotic card of the week will feature one of its four warbeasts. Although Blazvatan is the top warbeast among the mipedians, I chose to feature Titanix. He's a lot easier to obtain and just as strong stat wise. His courage and speed are incredibly high and his intimidate make it nearly impossible for creatures to do even the weakest stat attacks like spirit gust and shriek shock.

Titanix works great with Mudeenu and Brathe (two others extremely good mipedians that have no elements) as well as Bylkian, a royal conjuror. Use Bylkian to reduce Titanix’s recklessness and Mudeenu and Brathe as backup.

When choosing battle gear, the must have gear is the Warbeast Power Leash. It allows him to gain 5 energy plus 5 more energy for each conjuror. Finally to top it all off, Titanix deals an additional 5 damage after each hit. As you can see, the Warbeast Power Leash is a must with Titanix.

silent sands

In the setting sun, the Conjurors knelt downin the catacombs, focusing their Mugicalenergies on a single point. The harmony oftheir chant and the intricate patterns ofindigo blue that adorned the room paled in theswirling nexus of the Warbeast. Mr. Cactus

Say hello to Mr. Cactus :)
I'm sure everyone remembers Mr. Cactus from the chaotic "Trading Cards" episode. He was Peyton's little cactus buddy. Now you too can have your very own cactus buddy by following 2 easy steps.
1. Print your cactus buddy.
2. Cut out your cactus buddy.
Congratulations, you now have your very own cactus buddy. Coming soon... Peyton's doom burger!

Cade of the week

For my first card of the week I picked Prince Mudeenu. His invisibility strike is nearly unrivalled by all other mipedians and Mudeenu is easily capable of defeating most creatures in a single blow. However, make sure you get first strike because Mudeenu doesn’t last long with his below average energy. Although he’s not the strongest creature in Perim, as they say, brain beats brawns and Mudeenu has loads of it so make sure to include lots of wisdom attacks. He also has reasonable courage. For battle gear, depending if your deck is elementally based or not, the Wind whip (coming out with silent sands) is perfect to give to Mudeenu so he can use air element attacks. Also, the Aqua shield or if you don’t have one, the Ring of Na'arin are great to raise his energy.
